How DiamondGlow Works: A Step-by-Step Treatment Guide

DiamondGlow facial, formerly known as Dermalinfusion, is an advanced skin resurfacing treatment that does more than just refresh your complexion—it transforms it. Using a diamond-tipped wand, this multi-step facial simultaneously exfoliates, extracts impurities, and infuses the skin with condition-specific serums.

Whether you’re looking to boost hydration, brighten dull skin, or tackle stubborn breakouts, this treatment is fully customizable to your skincare needs. Here’s what you can expect during your DiamondGlow treatment, from start to finish.

Step 1: Preparing for Your DiamondGlow Treatment

To get the most out of your session, a little preparation goes a long way. Discontinue the use of retinol and retinoid products at least 48 hours before your appointment. Avoid harsh exfoliants, excessive sun exposure, and treatments that might leave your skin extra sensitive. Arriving with a clean, makeup-free face ensures that the treatment can work as effectively as possible.

Step 2: Personalized Consultation and Serum Selection

Your skin is unique, and your DiamondGlow treatment should be, too. Before getting started, your skincare professional will assess your skin type and concerns, then select the perfect serum to complement your needs:

  • Ultra Hydrating Serum – Ideal if your skin craves deep hydration and a plumper appearance.
  • Skin Brightening Serum – Helps restore a radiant glow and even out skin tone.
  • Pore Clarifying Serum – Great for acne-prone or congested skin, working to refine pores and calm breakouts.

This customized approach ensures that your skin gets exactly what it needs for a fresh, revitalized look.

Step 3: Exfoliation with the Diamond Tip Wand

Now, the real magic begins. The DiamondGlow device features a precision diamond tip that gently buffs away dead skin cells, revealing a fresher, smoother complexion underneath. Unlike traditional microdermabrasion, this process is entirely controlled to ensure a safe, effective exfoliation tailored to your skin type—even if you have sensitive skin. The level of exfoliation can be adjusted to match your comfort level while delivering the best possible results.

Step 4: Deep Pore Extraction

Cleansing your skin from within is just as important as exfoliating the surface. The built-in vacuum technology suctions away dirt, oil, and debris from your pores, leaving them clearer and less visible. This step is particularly beneficial for those dealing with breakouts or congestion. Since it’s a gentle process, there’s no discomfort—just the satisfying feeling of fresher, cleaner skin.

Step 5: Infusion of Targeted Serums

With your skin freshly exfoliated and your pores thoroughly cleansed, it’s time to lock in the benefits. The specialized serum chosen during your consultation is infused deep into your skin, maximizing absorption and effectiveness. Because the pores are primed and receptive at this stage, the serums penetrate more efficiently, delivering hydration, radiance, or acne-fighting benefits exactly where they’re needed.

Step 6: Post-Treatment Care for Lasting Results

Once your session is complete, you’ll immediately notice a difference—your skin will feel softer, look brighter, and appear more refreshed. To keep your results looking their best, follow these post-care guidelines:

  • Hold off on retinol and exfoliating products for at least 48 hours.
  • Avoid excessive heat, including saunas and intense workouts, for 24 hours.
  • Apply a high-quality, broad-spectrum sunscreen daily to protect your rejuvenated skin.
  • Keep your skin hydrated with a gentle, nourishing moisturizer.

Following these simple steps will help extend the glow and maintain your skin’s smooth, healthy look.

Maximizing Results with Dermaplaning

For those who want to take their DiamondGlow facial to the next level, consider adding dermaplaning to the mix. This treatment removes fine vellus hair (peach fuzz) and dead skin cells before your DiamondGlow treatment, allowing the infused serums to penetrate even deeper. The result? A smoother, more radiant complexion with amplified skincare benefits.

What to Expect During Your DiamondGlow Session

Many clients describe the experience as relaxing and comfortable. As the diamond tip glides over your skin, you’ll feel a gentle exfoliation, followed by the refreshing sensation of the serum infusion. Sessions typically last between 30 to 45 minutes, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule. There’s no downtime, so you can get back to your day with an instant glow.

One of the best things about DiamondGlow treatment is how quickly you’ll see results—your skin will look smoother, plumper, and more radiant immediately after your first session. While the exact duration of results depends on individual skin types and concerns, most clients enjoy the benefits for several weeks. For optimal maintenance, scheduling treatments every four to six weeks is recommended.

Who Can Benefit from DiamondGlow?

This treatment is designed for virtually all skin types, making it a great option for anyone looking to enhance their skin’s appearance. Whether you’re dealing with dryness, acne, uneven tone, or simply want a more radiant complexion, DiamondGlow facial can be customized to suit your needs. Its gentle yet effective approach makes it an excellent choice, even for those with sensitive skin.
