What is Vivace RF Microneedling?

Vivace RF microneedling is an advanced skin treatment that combines two well-established techniques: microneedling and radiofrequency (RF) energy. With microneedling, the skin is created with microchannels, stimulating natural healing and collagen production, while with radiofrequency energy, the deeper layers are heated, tightening and firming.

What makes Vivace different is its precision and comfort. With customizable settings, gold-plated needles, and LED light integration, this treatment works below the skin’s surface to improve tone, texture, and tightness, with minimal discomfort and downtime.

But beyond technical specs, people love it because it’s effective, discreet, and feels like a reset button for both the skin and the self.

Benefits of Vivace RF Microneedling

Skin looking tired, dull, or uneven is not just a cosmetic concern. It often affects how we interact socially and how we carry ourselves. Vivace RF microneedling addresses the visible symptoms and the more profound sense of self-esteem behind them.

Here’s how:

  • Boosts collagen naturally – This is one of the main drivers of smoother, firmer skin. As collagen levels rebuild, fine lines soften and elasticity improves.
  • Minimizes pore size and improves skin texture—A smoother surface enhances the appearance and performance of makeup or skincare products.
  • Fades acne scars and sun damage – Vivace reduces discoloration and uneven texture by stimulating cell turnover and skin renewal.
  • Supports emotional wellness – Clients whose skin improves over weeks often report a noticeable lift in mood and confidence.
  • Little to no downtime – Unlike more aggressive treatments, Vivace fits into a busy lifestyle, especially for people juggling careers, family, or both.

The real benefit, though? Feeling like yourself again—just refreshed.

Who Is This Best For?

Vivace RF microneedling is ideal for adults aged 30 to 60 who want visible results without surgery or significant recovery time. Fits a wide range of skin tones and types, and works well for those experiencing:

  • Mild to moderate skin laxity
  • Early signs of aging
  • Uneven tone or texture
  • Enlarged pores or acne scars

If you’ve hesitated to try other treatments because of fear of pain, extended downtime, or unnatural results, Vivace offers a more balanced option. It’s especially appealing to people in Gilbert, AZ, seeking noninvasive skin tightening that doesn’t interrupt daily life.

Your Path to Skin Confidence

Before Your Appointment

You’ll meet with a provider at Skin Ritual to discuss your goals and assess your skin’s condition. Before treatment, you may be asked to avoid retinol, sunlight, and certain skincare products.

Treatment Day

The treatment itself typically takes 45–60 minutes. During the session, tiny microneedles create controlled micro-injuries, while RF energy penetrates deeply to stimulate collagen and tighten tissue.

Aftercare & Downtime

Expect a bit of redness (similar to a mild sunburn) that usually fades within 24–48 hours. You may be asked to avoid makeup, direct sun, or intense workouts for the first few days.

Visible Results

Some improvements—like a subtle glow—can appear within the first week. However, collagen production builds gradually. Most people notice significant skin tone and firmness improvement within 4 to 6 weeks, with continued results for up to 6 months. Three treatments spaced one month apart often provide optimal outcomes.

Truths About Vivace RF Microneedling

Does Vivace RF microneedling hurt?

Most clients say it’s very tolerable, especially with numbing cream applied beforehand. The sensation is often described as a light prickling with warmth.

How many sessions will I need?

While you may see results after one treatment, most people benefit from three sessions about a month apart for best results.

Can Vivace RF microneedling be used on darker skin tones?

Yes. Because the technology is customizable and uses RF energy rather than lasers, it’s safe for all skin tones with minimal risk of pigmentation issues.

Is there any downtime?

Most people experience mild redness and tightness for a day or two. You can usually return to normal activities quickly.

Is this just a “trend” or does it work?

It works. Vivace RF microneedling is backed by clinical evidence and continues to grow in popularity because of its noticeable results and minimal side effects.
